Why We Participate in an Annual Toy Drive
Dr. Kent Smith and the rest of our phenomenal team are passionate about helping others – it’s what inspired us to join the dental field in the first place! While we certainly do our part to help our community by providing top-tier dentistry and personalized service, we like to take our contributions a step further. That’s why each year we work with the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital to host a toy drive in Edmond. In short, we love helping volunteers make every day feel like Christmas with plenty of toys and supplies.
When We Are Taking Donations (and What You Can Bring!)
Beginning the week of 11/15, our team will be welcoming donations from patients, friends, and neighbors at our Edmond dental office. We are located at 125 E 3rd St, Ste. D and are encouraging participants to bring:
- Card games, like Uno, Playing Cards, and Skipbo.
- Baby teethers, rattles, rock-a-stacks & shape sorters.
- Lego sets for all ages.
- Action figures & superheroes.
- Adult/teen coloring & activity books with colored pencils.
- Paint by number & Diamond DIY 5D Painting kits.
- Musical & light-up toys.
- Trucks, cars & dolls.
- Wireless portable speakers.
- $25 gift cards to Wal-Mart, Target & Amazon
*All items must be new and unwrapped
Or, if your calendar is already jam-packed with to-dos, you can make a generous donation and let us do the shopping for you! That way, you can still participate in a good cause without having to turn your schedule upside down.
The holiday season is a magical time of year that everyone should have the opportunity to experience. It may seem small, but any donation, card game, or toy can help make that happen for a child, family, or individual.
