Dr. M. Kent Smith has been dedicated to the field of dentistry since 1988. He began his academic journey at Stephen F. Austin State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Dental Branch in 1986. Following graduation, he completed a general practice residency at the University of Oklahoma, further enhancing his clinical skills.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Smith pursues continuing education with great enthusiasm. He regularly participates in online courses, local study clubs and both national and international training programs. His advanced education includes work through the Baylor College of Dentistry in Advanced Restorative Esthetics, as well as ongoing involvement with the Spear Study Club. These experiences allow him to stay at the forefront of the profession and provide optimal care for every patient, every day.

Dr. Smith is a proud member of the American Dental Association® and has received recognition for his service, including membership in the Gladys Smith Society of Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children and a Certificate of Merit from the American Society of Dentistry for Children.

Passionate about making a difference beyond the dental chair, Dr. Smith has participated in mission work through Pioneer Missions, traveling to underserved communities in Chile, Paraguay and Brazil to deliver essential dental care.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife, Leslye, their three daughters, one son and seven grandchildren. One of his greatest joys has been supporting his children in their athletic endeavors and now cheering on his grandchildren.

Dr. Smith remains committed to learning, growing and creating a compassionate, comfortable environment for every patient who walks through his doors.

Rachel has been a dedicated part of our team since 2015. She earned her degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013 and quickly found her passion in the dental field through her role in office management. As office manager, Rachel is known for her goal-driven mindset, positive attitude and strong sense of determination – qualities that play a key role in the continued success of the practice.

One of Rachel’s favorite aspects of her work is the lasting relationships she has built with patients and team members. She takes pride in helping create a welcoming environment where excellent service and care are the standard. Her commitment to consistency and compassion has helped foster a loyal community of lifelong patients.

Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, Cody, and their two sons. She is an enthusiastic baseball mom, often found cheering from the stands. Rachel also owns a creative side business, Alsup Balloons.

Laurin became a part of our practice in August 2024 and brings dedication, skill and a calm presence to her role as a dental assistant. She completed her expanded duties dental assistant (EDDA) training in Denver, Colorado, and has since focused on providing high-quality care that supports both the dental team and the overall health of every patient.

Laurin has a passion for helping others and takes pride in contributing to a smooth, supportive environment where patients feel stable and well-cared for.

Outside of the office, Laurin enjoys a full and active life with her husband and their four daughters. She has a wide range of interests, including figure skating, baking and even pole vaulting.
